                                         WEEK IN REVIEW

                                                           March 3, 2010

When Sergeant at Arms Karen reminded Jim A (a little too late) that he was supposed to be taking notes, he responded that it was "all in his head."  I have yet to receive either Jim's written or telepathic report and unfortunately my crystal ball is in the shop so we will dispense with the official minutes of this meeting.

Although I was absent,  I bet everything went off without a hitch and the meeting went something like this.   PE Julie ran the meeting as Pres. Steve was unexpectedly called away.   There was probably a Patriotic song, a reciting of the Four-Way Test, and an Invocation.  I have to believe the usuals were at their usual seats at their usual tables and that all enjoyed a great buffet.  I'm guessing Phil gave the Foundation Moment, VP Frank gave an update on the upcoming Auction on March 21st, Chuck provided a report on the 90th Anniversary Celebration for May 17-19 and SAA Karen ably solicited Happy Dollars and Fines for the Treasury.  Could PE Julie have reminded us of the District Assembly on April 10th at YCCC,  PolioPlus Bingo on May 8th, and the District Conference on May 14-16 at the Portsmouth Sheraton.  Someone most likely won the 50/50, a few folks scooted and then Jim C introduced our guest speaker.  Gubernatorial Candidate Paul LePage spoke about his campaign for Governor and suggested we check out his web site www.lepage2010.com for details.   I hope I didn't miss anything :-)

Hope to see you all tomorrow!

Helene, ye Editor
